SaaS - Software as a Service

Whereas traditionally software was installed on users PCs, or on a server computer situated at a company's premises, Software as a Service is provided over the internet.

With increasingly fast and reliable internet connections, businesses can subscribe to software applications that are hosted on the internet rather than on their PCs. Usually based on a monthly per user price plan, Software as a Service brings cashflow benefits and is scalable, allowing new users to be added or removed as a business requires.

Users can also access their business applications wherever they have an internet connection allowing them to work while on the road or at home.
